In the "album version", the second line of the second verse is "any deal that we endeavor/boys and girls feel good together". In the "single version", the same line is changed to "once again if we endeavour/love will bring us back together".

The video features the five girls in Times Square in New York City with fast moving cars appearing around multi-coloured lights, appearing in various places around the city, either alone, with one other member, or as a quintet. Sometimes the closing scene would not be shown on television due to the song fading out to an instrumental which lasts for forty seconds.

"Say You'll Be There" was the second Spice Girls single. It was the second Spice Girls #1 in the UK, and in the US it peaked at #3 - at the time, it also set a record for highest British debut (at #5).
"Say You'll Be There" was co-written by Jon B., Eliot Kennedy and the Spice Girls and was produced by Absolute. The harmonica solo is played by Judd Lander, who also played the harmonica on Culture Club's "Karma Chameleon".

"Too Much" was the second single to be released from "Spiceworld" on 15th December 1997 in the UK and 27th January 1998 in the US. Taking everything into account, this single was just as big as "Spice Up Your Life" on a worldwide basis, even though it didn't sell as well.
